As of January 2015, Geistlich Pharma opened its own affiliate on the Australian and New Zealand market. Nevertheless, the collaboration with the existing distribution partner Henry Schein will be continued. From now on, Geistlich Pharma PTY Ltd. will supply and serve specialists in oral hard and soft tissue regeneration, whereas Henry Schein as the distribution partner will concentrate on the general dental practitioners. Both the new affiliate and Henry Schein offer the entire product line Geistlich Bio-Oss®, Geistlich Bio-Gide® and Geistlich Mucograft®.
Market leadership with promising perspectives
The stronger local presence should actively contribute to greater proximity to the customer and provide specialized consulting for dental surgeons in regenerative medicine. Dental surgeons and their patients will benefit from this in equal measure. Today, Geistlich products are already market leaders for bone replacement materials and membranes in Australia and New Zealand. Both markets developed positively in the past and offer persistently promising perspectives.
