Geistlich at the ITI World Symposium

Have you ever ‘sealed’ an extraction socket with a golf ball? Those who want to approach ridge preservation in a different way will have the opportunity to do so at the Geistlich booth during the ITI World Symposium in Geneva.
March 16, 2014

More than 5’000 attendees are expected at the ITI World Symposium in Geneva from 24 to 26 April. The city’s central location in Europe and cosmopolitan atmosphere make it a very inviting destination. The scientific programme will offer a wide range of information, from digital implantology to biological and technical complications and aesthetics.

At Geistlich’s stand, everything will revolve around its new product – Geistlich Mucograft® Seal. An extraction site will be constructed at the stand and participants will be invited to ‘seal’ the socket with a golf ball.

As a platinum sponsor, Geistlich Biomaterials is also organising two lectures by distinguished experts in the pre-symposium Corporate Forum:

  • Dr. Stephen Chen, Australia, will consider socket maintenance following tooth extraction. He will focus on how to achieve ridge preservation with as predictable results as possible.
  • Prof. Daniel Buser, Switzerland, will present an update on GBR technology. He will discuss when augmentation and implantation should take place concurrently and when a two-stage approach is appropriate.
