At the gateway to the professional world: Geistlich congratulates on the successful completion of vocational training

Geistlich is proud and warmly congratulates its four successful apprenticeship graduates. Two of the fresh graduates are taking on a further professional challenge at Geistlich.
July 06, 2022

All four apprentices have earned their successful completion of their vocational training. They can look back on a challenging period of training and an intensive examination phase that prepared them for a successful professional career. The reward for the degree earned is the Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ). The qualifications obtained relate to the four professions: commercial clerk, computer scientist, polygrapher and laboratory technician. Anyone who completes an apprenticeship at Geistlich has acquired the necessary skills and proven themselves as a specialist. Lorna Cikoja, a newly qualified commercial clerk: "Geistlich gave me a very varied and educational time. I'm looking forward to my first real job with the company."

More and additional vocational apprenticeships in the future

Geistlich is increasingly committed to vocational training in the coming years and is expanding its involvement both quantitatively and qualitatively: More apprenticeships will be offered, and in addition the company is looking into taking on additional professional profiles. Vocational training is a way for Geistlich to secure sufficient high-quality junior staff. Tamara Vüllers, training manager: "Those who get to know our company as an attractive employer through vocational training often want to stay with us. In this way, we counter the shortage of skilled workers and secure the know-how of the young talents."
